One day a client came to him  and was discussing the problems he had.  \u201dTell me,\u201d said the psychotherapist, \u201cdid you dream last  night?\u201d  \u201cI might have done,\u201d replied the client.  \u201cAnd tell me, in this dream was there a river?\u201d  \u201cI don\u2019t think so,\u201d replied the client.  \u201cWell, was there any water, if not a river?\u201d  \u201cI guess there might have been.\u201d  \u201cAnd was there a pool on the ground?\u201d  \u201cI couldn\u2019t be certain but it\u2019s possible,\u201d the client replied.  \u201cAnd in this pool could there have been a fish?\u201d  \u201cI can\u2019t rule out the possibility that there might have been a  fish.\u201d  \u201cAha!\u201d said the psychotherapist. \u201cI knew it!\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There existed a psychotherapist who believed that many of the problems people brought to him were characterized by the existence of \u2018fish\u2019 in their dreams.
