He said, &#8222;You want me to carry four year old David up the mountain?&#8220; I said, &#8222;No &#8230; I want you and David to climb Squaw Peak, and what YOU&#8217;RE climbing for is to get an education . . . and come in tomorrow and tell me about your education.&#8220; He came in the next day feeling very sheepish. He said, &#8222;I got my education. I was pooped before I was halfway up, and David was making side trips here and side trips there and kept yelling at me &#8218;Hurry up, Daddy, hurry up!&#8216; &#8220; I said, &#8222;In other words, haven&#8217;t you been a little bit overprotective of that child?&#8220; He said, &#8222;I sure have.
